| Single Line Stereo Type Speaker The First Appearance in the World! |
 |
|
| FPS INC. has developed the world's first Single Line Stereo Speaker, in
cooperation with Prof. Dr.Yoshio Yamasaki, Waseda University. We achieved
small, thin, and light weight. Furthermore, large output that meets the
requirement from Notebook PC for Digital Terrestrial, and Digital Signage
instruments. |
|
| In Development |
|
| It is difficult to reproduce large output and bass with conventional small
& thin speakers, since the vibrating diaphragm area and the stroke
are small. Our joint research has developed for this weak point. In this
study, we found the line-sound-source speaker which reproduce stereo sound
with single diaphragm. We have succeeded development of the speaker which
pulls out the advantage of line-sound-source to the maximum and enabled
reproducing bass under small & thin in size. |
|
| Technical Characteristics |
|
- It is a stereo speaker which reproduce two-channel sound with one sheet
of vibrating diaphragm on the same axis.
- The line-sound-source speaker has directivity and the sound attenuation
in distance is smaller than the conventional point-source cone speaker.
Point Source: 1/R2、Line sound Source: 1/R (R is a distance)
Moreover, since the width (sound reproducing diaphragm) is 10 mm, it works
as perfect line sound sourceand constitute the sound field to circumference
in a lengthwise.
- Improved the recycling performance
The weight saving in parts, realizes the further high recycling rate.
